I am thinking I've actually had at least one or two... Just didn't notice them :P . Seriously, hard to tell sometimes - feeling all weak and wobbly after a migraine could be pretty normal; same for a couple of weeks after - might not be so.

I have stroke-like auras. I also have cluster headaches, and when the two are happening at once, things get a little crazy. The first time a stroke-like aura hit, I was afraid perhaps it was a stroke. So was my doc. Now I admit being a little afraid that if I ever do have a stroke, I won't know the difference between that and a migraine. Now I let my hubby know when symptoms start and he checks on me to be sure I'm okay. It's the best solution we have been able to come up with so far. Thankfully, stroke is still rare.

Interesting to read but how would you know that your headache wasn't preceding a stroke. Scary thought. I hope you have a better 2009!!
