Or it should be more like "How the Heck Would Acupuncture Bracelet with no Needles mentioned be Helping You Sleep?"
It's a wrist band with some sort of dial and it runs on a cell battery. Could it be delivering a low level electric shock in lue of the absent needles?
Ahh, so many questions and the skinny from the manufacturer's site:
The natural drug-free answer could be the Sleep Partner, a simple bracelet strap that stimulates the acupuncture points of the wrist associated with sleep to create sleep-inducing stress relief and help normalize your body’s biological clock. It’s advised that you strap on the device 30 minutes before planned sleep and keep it on throughout the night.
- Simply rotate the moveable dial to increase or lessen the pressure
- Can be worn on either wrist
- Adjustable leather-effect strap 10" (25cm) long
- Cell battery included
- Presentation box for an original gift
...answers none of them.
It's tempting to think that it works. Would be nice to have a "drug-free" alternative for a restful slumber... And yours truly is indeed found of gadgets.
So, if any of my gentle readers have any experience with this particular "Sleep Partner" (sounds a bit naughty, does it not?) doohickey, please do share.

Hmmm...were I not across the Pond (which would make the shipping as much as the wristband no doubt), I'd try it! Heck, I'm getting good results from acupuncture at the chiropractor's office.
I could speculate that it might function in some sort of manner as electric stimulation (like ONSTIM or the electric stim treatments a chiropractor might do) but it would indeed be worth the pixels it's written on!
Like you said, not nearly enough information for an informed consumer. If I could get it here for a reasonable price, I'd try it and just let my chiro explain why it either did or did not work for me.
I am almost tempted to get one for testing. Almost...
