The Daily Minder, that mysterious yet intrepid pursuer of harmony, has posted a video of one of his Buddhist teachers, Mingyur Rinpoche.
This is not just a random Buddhist-stare-at-your-navel-till-it-glows video. Rinpoche is a lama of a very high order and The Daily Minder actually met him and had a chance to learn from the good lama.
Rinpoche explains how to use panic attacks as part of one's meditation. The lama has a personal experience with those - he used to suffer them a lot.
Here's the video:
And don't forget to visit The Daily Minder for the full article and other bits to put your humble self onto the path of the practical enlightenment. He is still giving away his eBook on beating stress for free so, check that out as well.

Thank you for the info. Lots of migraine people do have anxiety, panic attacks, etc. We need to deal with it somehow...
Lucky you, actually meeting someone like that in person and being able to learn from him. Well, I suppose, the video is the next best thing :P .
I don´t get panic attacks, but I know my migraines are triggered by stress and overstimulation of my nervous system (be it mentally or emotionally. Trying meditation to get a grip on the stress seems a good idea.
