Baylor College of Medicine weights in on the "painless" migraines. Dr. Rod Foroozan, assistant professor of ophthalmology at BCM says that around 20% of all people affected with migraines don't actually have any headaches.
What they do have is something the rest of us are familiar as well - brief loss of vision, blind spots, flashing light, shadowy spots and double vision.
The word of caution from the good doctor - "In some cases a prolonged migraine, with or without headache, can cause a stroke." So if you think your eyes are acting funny, don't wait too long, have your head examined, you lucky headache-less bustards.
